Bowie Considering Tesla Role

David Bowie is considering the role of Nikola Tesla in The Prestige, a film from Memento director Christopher Nolan. Other cast members include Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Michael Caine as rival magicians in early 20th century London. The film, based on the 1996 novel by Christopher Priest, will begin shooting in January.
