The Royal Swedish Academy of Music handed out its Polar Music Prize to both Led Zeppelin and Russian conductor Valery Gergiev. The winners will each receive one million kroner (roughly $160,000). Founded by Stig Anderson, former manager of Abba, the prize will be presented to the winners by Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf in May.
