In an effort to curb the intense power scalpers yield over the ticket-buying public, Nine Inch Nails has announced a series of auctions for nineteen U.S. and Canadian shows. The auctions will be held by Ticketmaster where fans will be able bid on top-quality seats. While fans may find themselves paying as much as they would have on eBay to a scalper, they can be comforted that profits will go to the Innocence Project–a non-profit legal clinic that uses DNA evidence to exonerate wrongly imprisoned men and women–and not a ticket broker’s pocket.http://nin.com/current/ticketauction.html
