Laurel Aitken, a.k.a. the Godfather of Ska, passed away this week at the age of 78 from a heart attack. Aitken moved to London from Jamaica and is considered to have been at the helm of the ska movement. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4699079.stm
