DiFranco to take time off

Road dog Ani DiFranco will have to stop the bus at the end of this month owing to a bad case of tendonitis. DiFranco had taken a three-month break earlier in the in an effort to overcome the condition, but since returning to the road, the pain in her hands has returned. According to a statement from her label, continued touring could cause permanent damage.
