American death metal band Decide has more fans in Santiago, Chile, than one might think. The band recently played the South American city for the first time to a packed house. Outside the venue about two-hundred fans who were turned away at the door became violent. Chilean special forces officers had to be called in to dispurse the crowd, tear gas in hand. Church officials had been campaigning against the band’s performance out of respect for a priest who was murdered by a Decide fan less than a year ago.http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=39389
