R&B singer Luther Vandross passed away on Friday of complications stemming from his 2003 stroke. It is not publicly known what exactly happened two days ago, but prior to this, Vandross was believed to be recovering nicely. A tribute album to the singer, already in the works by producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, will feature R&B artists Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey, American Idol stars Fantasia and Ruben Studdard, and easy-listening icon Celine Dion.http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1505126/20050701/vandross_luther.jhtml?headlines=true
