Karl Mueller, bassist for popular 90s rock band Soul Asylum, passed away on Friday of throat cancer, one year after diagnosis. He was 41. The band completed a new album earlier this year and are in negotiations about seeing its release.http://www.chartattack.com/damn/2005/06/2003.cfm
