Ian Curtis Biopic in the Works

Joy Division singer Ian Curtis will be the subject of the film Touching From A Distance, based on the book of the same name by Curtis’ widow. Curtis committed suicide in 1980 and the film plans to deal with the possible reasons he took his life. It will be directed by Anton Corbijn, with Curtis’ widow and music exec Tony Wilson as co-executive producers.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/film/4154683.stm
