Prince Steals Hall of Fame Induction Show

The 2004 class inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame included a wide range of artists from George Harrison to ZZ Top. But it was purple royalty that reigned supreme at the ceremony on March 15th. Prince, a fellow inductee, opened the show with three of his hits and was later inducted by Alicia Keys and OutKast, who have recently been ruling the Billboard charts. In his acceptance speech, Prince thanked his record company and credited his spirituality for his personal success. Following the ceremony, His Royal Purpleness gave a full-length intimate concert.http://www.billboard.com/bb/daily/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000463165
