‘Cool Music’ for a Good Cause

January 20th will see the release of a compilation album that will benefit the Jimmy Fund, a Boston cancer research organization. Hot Stove, Cool Music will feature tracks donated by Paul Westerberg, Dropkick Murphys, American Hi-Fi, and the Allman Brothers Band.

The album will also feature a live Denver performance of Pearl Jam’s controversial song “Bu$hleaguer”. This was the last performance of this song on Pearl Jam’s Riot Act tour after a few fans were offended by the political content.http://www.billboard.com/bb/daily/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=2058312
