End of Silverchair?

Though the band’s manager denies it, rumors are swirling that Silverchair is on the outs. Band members have reportedly not seen each other since their London gig last June. All members are keeping themselves busy with separate ventures and their respective girlfriends. Most notable is Daniel Johns’ “more than a side project” new band The Dissociatives featuring Silverchair collaborator Paul Mac.

Silverchair came to fame prematurely in 1992 riding the tails of their older grunge contemporaries. Over the past decade their work has matured, culminating in the heavily orchestrated Diorama, released in 2002.http://entertainment.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4459,8139334%5E10431%5E%5Enbv,00.html
