According to their website, Weezer has resumed creation of their 5th, yet-to-be titled album. After an 8 month break from the record’s original release date (March ’03), Rivers and gang spent 11 days of preparation with producer-extraordinaire Rick Rubin (System of a Down) before completing 3 days of recording. No title, track-listing, or relaease date has been announced for Album #5 yet, but keep checking www.weezer.com for almost-daily updates.
Also on the horizon for Weezer fans are a re-release of the Blue Album with added photos and band commentary, and a DVD highlighting behind-the scenes antics and 10 years of live performances. Both are due out early next year.
