The girl group didn’t have a chance with such strong pop femme fatales reinventing themselves into oblivion, and Beyonce’s offering deserves a window seat in the back of the school bus of pop music, where the cool, bad kids sit.Refreshingly mature, Dangerously In Love showcases the talent we already knew young Knowles has had, but in the context of sexy, danceable pop without the clutter of the overbearing adorable perkiness of her Destiny’s Childhood. In fact, there is no child to be found in her collaboration laden, musically intricate solo album.
