N.Y.C’s Panorama music festival has announced its 2017 lineup featuring Frank Ocean, Tame Impala, Nine Inch Nails, A Tribe Called Quest and more. From July 28th-30th experience three days of music in Randalls Island Park located in the middle of New York City.
No your eyes aren’t deceiving you, NIN is actually set to take the stage for their first live performance in three years, since the end of their Twenty Thirteen Tour in 2014. Besides the release of their new EP Not the Actual Events in December, NIN has remained hidden from the stage until now. However, they’re back and in a interview with Zane Lowe, Trent Reznor discussed that he plans to release “two new major” projects in 2017.
NIN are not the only ones who have been taking a break from the stage. Headlining on Sunday along with them is A Tribe Called Quest. This past November, after 18 years since their last album, ATCQ released their 6th studio album We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service. Now with their upcoming set on July 30th, this will mark one of Hip Hop’s most prominent groups, first performance since 2013.
Delivering an impressive debut in 2016, Panorama headliners included Kendrick Lamar, Acarde Fire, and LCD Soundsystem. Now back for its second year in a row, this years lineup continues to prove why Panorama is definitely one music festival that can’t be missed. So start scrambling up that money or put together that GoFundMe page because tickets go on sale on this Friday (1.13) at 10 am! Pre-sale tickets will be sold through American Express on Thursday (1.12)
