Reunited Scottish alt-rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain have announced new spring tour dates, including a visit to SXSW in Austin on the 14th through the 18th of March.
The lineup will include founding members Jim and William Reid, the songwriting duo at the core of the band, as well as guitarist John Moore and bassist Phil King. They have not yet announced who will be manning the drums for the shows, which are all in Texas and Louisiana (full dates below).
The Jesus and Mary Chain had a string of well-recieved albums in the 80s and 90s, including Psychocandy in 1985. The group dissolved in 1999 but reunited in 2007, playing Coachella in that year.
